The Undergraduate Student Government invited five of its 2025 USG award recipients to speak at its final spring semester meeting.
The recipients and their awards are:
Patricia Conde-Brooks – executive director of student engagement: Recipient of the 2025 William B. Malevich Award
Kari Zimmerman – professor of History, faculty senate chair: Recipient of the 2025 USG Distinguished Educator Award
Jerome Benner – director of community relations: Recipient of the 2025 USG Accolades
Wendy Wyatt – vice provost of academic affairs: Recipient of the 2025 USG Accolades
Lisa Waldner – associate vice president of student achievement: Recipient of the 2025 USG Accolades
USG also swore in its 2025-26 members.

Vice President of Student Engagement: Anakin Yang
Vice President of Equity and Inclusion: Najma Abade
Vice President of Administrative Affairs: Sreeja Thirukkovalur
