The St. Thomas women’s hockey team earned their first win in the season opener against the New Hampshire Wildcats, Friday at Lee and Penny Anderson Arena.
Sophomore forward Whitney Horton scored two goals in the Tommies’ 7-2 victory. They will play the Ohio State Bucheyes, Friday at Lee and Penny Anderson Arena.
St. Thomas football faced off against the San Diego Toreros Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium in their first conference game of the year.
The Tommies dominated the Toreros winning the game 50-17 behind another strong performance from three time Pioneer Football League player of the week, Nick Peipert.
The Tommies are now 4-1 and will play against Presbyterian College Saturday, in Clinton, S.C.
