The Minnesota Vikings shut down Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears for a damp 9-3 victory at Soldier Field on Sunday.
Dallas Turner had two of Minnesota’s four sacks, and Williams left with a hamstring injury midway through the fourth quarter.
This was the Vikings’ seventh consecutive win at Soldier Field, matching the franchise record for consecutive road wins over a division opponent. The Vikings will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday.
The Tommie Football (3-1) faced Southern Utah Saturday at O’Shaughnessey Stadium in what ended as a dramatic fourth-quarter showdown.
The Thunderbirds failed to tie the game with a two-point conversion after redshirt wide receiver Mark Bails didn’t catch the pass, ultimately securing another Tommie win for the season, 28-26.
