St. Thomas football defeated the Northern Michigan Wildcats 20-7 Saturday afternoon at the Superior Dome.
The Wildcats held the Tommies to a 7-6 lead until late in the fourth quarter, though Tommie defense limited Northern Michigan’s explosive offense until they were able to pull ahead with two touchdowns.
The Tommies will have a bye week this Saturday before heading to the University of San Diego on Sept. 27.
