No. 15 St. Thomas women’s hockey lost to No. 1 Wisconsin 8-0 Thursday in Madison, Wis. UST only had 13 shots to UW’s 44.
After being up 3-0 in the first period, the Badgers continued to pile on, keeping Wisconsin at the top of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association standings, and UST at sixth place.
The Tommies look to bounce back Friday at 7 p.m.
St. Thomas men’s basketball tips off against Northern Colorado Friday at 6:30 p.m. for its first game in the Portland Invitational.
The team will also take on Cal State Fullerton and Portland throughout the weekend.
St. Thomas football will travel to Fargo to play North Dakota State Saturday for its final game of the season at 2:30 p.m.
Although UST is out of conference championship contention, they can prove themselves against the top program in FCS football.
