The St. Thomas football team played Drake University for their homecoming game on Saturday. However, they were not able to secure the win, losing 22-19. The run game wasn’t helped by the injury of senior center Langston Robinson midway through the first quarter. Graduate defensive lineman Seth Hopkins and junior tight end Matt Rink also left the game.

The St. Thomas men’s basketball lost to Oklahoma state 80-71 on Sunday at Gallagher-Iba Arena. This first loss comes after giving away 20 turnovers that led to 20 Cowboys points. The Tommies shot 40.3 percent (25-62) from the field, overcoming shooting 27.6 percent (8-29) in the first half, and tied the Cowboys with 37 rebounds apiece.

The University of St. Thomas Men’s Hockey team lost to the Minnesota State Mavericks on Saturday night. The Tommies scored first but the game ended in a 1-1 tie. The Mavericks took the extra point in the shootout. Jake Braccini scored the Tommies’ goal in the first period, the first of his season.
