The St. Thomas men’s hockey team earned 7 awards on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of its Central Collegiate Hockey Association semifinal game against Augustana on Saturday.
The Tommies snatched five of 18 possible All-CCHA team roster spots, the most of any team in the conference, and won two of the three CCHA Year-Awards announced Wednesday.
Senior forward Lucas Wahlin was named CCHA Defensive Forward of the Year and also earned a place on the All-CCHA First Team.
St. Thomas Emerging Media administrative assistant Oyuna Uranchimeg competed in the mixed wheelchair curling competition Thursday at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Milan Cortina.
The USA team was eliminated from contention for the semifinals after falling to Canada, finishing with a 3-6 record in Olympic competition.
