The St. Thomas men’s basketball team defeated NDSU 84-62 Thursday night in the Anderson Arena, led by junior forward Carter Bjerke, who went 7-9 from the three point line.
The Tommies will end their regular season schedule Saturday against Omaha, the reigning Summit League champions.
Women’s basketball narrowly beat Kansas City in the final home game of coach Ruth Sinn’s career.
Sinn has had a 25-year career as a Tommie, beginning in 1980 when she played for the team as a point guard and as head coach starting in 2005. She will finish her regular season career against Oral Roberts on Saturday, where the team hopes to secure their fourth-seed position in the Summit League before the conference tournament.
