Sophomore Brooke Wisdom and Junior Morgan Koppelman both cleared 3.91 meters in the pole vault Sunday at the Mark Schuck Open and Multi in Mankato. They now share the school women’s record in the event.
Junior Cassia Cady joined the record-setting club this season by leaping 12.06 meters in the triple jump.
For the men’s team, Sophomore Blake Burnstad set the 1,000-meter run record with a 2:26.92 finish.
Junior Johnny Bezdicek ran a 34.43 second 300-meter dash for yet another school record.
Junior Carter Bjerke splashed ten three-pointers on 14 attempts in UST men’s basketball’s 99-64 win over Kansas City Sunday. He set the Division I-era school record for most three-pointers in a single game.
St. Thomas tennis is still looking for its first win of the season after dropping its opener 6-1 to Iowa State. First-year Emilia Korseth scored the only point for the team in singles play.
