On Friday, the St. Thomas track and field team opened their indoor season at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse in the M City Classic. Big moves were made during the field event, including junior Olivia Keller’s record-breaking pentathlon score. She shattered her own record from last year, scoring a school-record-breaking score of 3,751.

Tommies men’s basketball had a successful weekend challenge against Montana at home in Shoenecker Arena on Saturday afternoon. Tommies finished Saturday’s win with a final score of 88-81, and they held their ground as undefeated in the Big-Sky Summit Challenge coming off of last season and their Wednesday night win over Northern Colorado.

Yesterday, former Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Kirk Cousins returned to US Bank Stadium, and it was not a glorious return. The Minnesota Vikings crushed the Atlanta Falcons, who Cousins now plays for, 42-21. Justin Jefferson from the Vikings was a star player in Sunday’s game, catching seven passes for 132 yards and bringing the Vikings two major touchdowns.
