St. Thomas showed early promise against top-ranked Oklahoma, putting two runners on base in the first but failing to capitalize. Starter Ella Cook opened with a clean inning, including a strikeout, but couldn’t hold back the Sooners’ offense, which erupted for eight runs in the second.
The University of St. Thomas’ athletic director, Phil Esten, announced a partnership with Nike and BSN Sports, which will last for multiple years. Nike will be the official outfitter for Tommie athletics, while BSN Sports will supply uniforms, apparel and more.
Matt Armstrong of the St. Thomas golf team has been announced Summit League Kwik Star Peak Golfer of the Week after a stellar performance at the Seattle-U Redhawk Invitational. Armstrong was able to finish 8 under par, which led the Tommies to a win which was their first since 2023.
