Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told fellow world leaders on Friday that his nation “must finish the job” against Hamas in Gaza, giving a defiant speech despite growing international isolation over his refusal to end the devastating war.

He spoke after dozens of delegates from multiple nations walked out of the U.N. General Assembly hall en masse Friday as he began.

European defense ministers agreed on Friday to develop a “drone wall” along their borders with Russia and Ukraine to better detect, track and intercept drones violating Europe’s airspace.

The decision comes after a spate of incidents in which Europe’s borders and airports have been tested by rogue drones. Russia has been blamed for some of them but denies that anything was done on purpose or that it played a role.

Last week, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison appealed a ruling by Ramsey County Judge Leonardo Castro who found that the state’s ban on binary triggers on guns violates a clause in the Minnesota Constitution, written in 1858, that “No law shall embrace more than one subject, which shall be expressed in its title.”

Castro’s ruling did not just invite challenges to the 2024 law. It also questioned the whole business of omnibus bills, which have become the Legislature’s de facto mode of writing legislation.
