Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy was found guilty for criminal conspiracy and sentenced to five years in prison on the examination of accepting millions of euros from Libyan Strongman Moammar Gadhafi for his 2007 presidential campaign. 

Sarkozy is set to start his sentence within a month, unless his lawyers can convince the French court to delay it while appeals are reviewed.

Delta Airlines has begun to replace the engines on more than 300 of their Airbus jets to address concerns over recent years of toxic fumes released by planes. 

Delta is about 90% finished with upgrading their engines to each of the Airbus family jets. 

Following the Dallas shooting at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Facility that took place yesterday, September 24th, the shooter has been identified as Joshua Jahn, and the bullets shot have been engraved with the phrase “Anti-Ice”.

Starbucks is laying off more than 900 of their employees and closing some of their North American stores in an effort to trim costs to put back into existing cafes. 

Workers are planned to be notified on Friday on the status of their position, and corporate employees are asked to work from home at this time.
