Israeli strikes on Monday morning killed 180 Lebanese and injured over 700 in the deadliest bombardment since the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war.

The Israeli military announced it hit some 300 targets Monday morning and that it was going after Hezbollah weapons sites.

Strikes hit residential areas in towns of the south Bekaa valley, and Byblos in central Lebanon.

On a branch of the Hudson River, a tugboat powered by ammonia separated from the shipyard dock for the first time to show how the maritime industry is lessening its carbon dioxide emissions.

The tugboat used to run on diesel fuel, but a New York-based startup company Amogy purchased the 67-year-old ship to change its suitable fuel for functioning. 

The tugboat’s first sail on Sunday evening is a milestone in developing zero-emissions propulsion using renewable fuel. 

Changed parking availability at the University of St. Thomas has caused confusion for students starting the fall semester.

Students have been late to classes and received citations due to these changes.
