A chemical tank exploded in Toledo, Ohio, on Tuesday night, causing concerns about a dangerous chemical release. University of St. Thomas student withdrew after a video of her making a racist comment toward protesters went viral on social media. The video was recorded outside a Turning Point USA event at the University of Minnesota on October fourteenth. The student apologized for her actions and said she understood that her words had hurt others. The university also stated that it does not support hateful language and emphasized the importance of treating everyone with respect and dignity.
