A 19-year-old student at a vocational school in northern Poland attacked fellow students, teachers and passersby with a sharp object Wednesday, injuring eight people before fleeing and being arrested nearby, authorities said. The attack took place about 11 a.m. local time, about 75 miles northeast of Warsaw, police said. Authorities did not provide any information about the suspected motive, or details about the weapon.

A day after President Donald Trump said he would start paying for controversial taxpayer-funded ads with a campaign account, there’s no sign he plans to refund the millions of federal dollars already spent on them. A White House official insisting on anonymity said Trump’s promises don’t mean there’s any reimbursement coming for the $12 million worth of ads.

For nearly two hours, about two dozen rescue kittens romped through the Sea Life aquarium at the Mall of America.

Some charged down a 300-foot underwater tunnel,  while other cats found the aquarium’s dim blue environment calming and closed their eyes for a little nap.

This was the sixth year the Bitty Kitty Brigade, a rescue organization in the Twin Cities that finds foster homes for orphaned neonatal kittens, held its “field trip” to the aquarium.
