U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says there is evidence of North Korean troops in Russia. Reports from South Korean intelligence suggested to lawmakers there are 3,000 North Korean troops now receiving training in Russia.

This report comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said there were some 10,000 North Korean troops joining Russian forces, but the U.S. and NATO have yet to confirm these reports. Zelenskyy says his government is “Sounding the alarm” because they see North Korean troops as a big threat.

Earlier this month, Vice Presidential nominee and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was found in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota with hunters for the official Governor’s Pheasant Hunting Opener.

The move was an effort by the Democratic campaign to show the Governor’s rural background and attempt to connect with male voters. Walz could be seen in video clips walking around open grasslands carrying a shotgun, but reports say he did not have a successful hunt.
