A large Russian drone and missile barrage on Ukraine’s western city of Ternopil killed at least 25 people, including three children, and injured at least 73, authorities said Wednesday, as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Turkey in search of diplomatic support against Russia’s invasion.

The nighttime attack hit two nine-story apartment blocks in Ternopil, located around 120 miles from the Polish border, according to Ukrainian officials. Emergency crews were sifting through the rubble for survivors.

Target’s third-quarter profit tumbled as the Minneapolis-based retailer struggles to lure shoppers that are being pressed by stubbornly high inflation.

The company said Wednesday that it expects its sales slump to extend through the critical holiday shopping season. The company also announced that it’s now planning to invest a total $5 billion dollars next year to remodel stores and build new ones.

The Israeli military carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon Wednesday on what it said was Hezbollah infrastructure after a drone strike earlier in the day killed one person and wounded several others, including students on a nearby bus.

The new wave of strikes came as tensions between Israel and militants are escalating. An airstrike Tuesday night killed 13 people in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ein el-Hilweh, the deadliest of Israeli attacks since a ceasefire in the Israel-Hezbollah war a year ago.
