According to Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry, Iran struck the United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia early Tuesday using two drones as Washington was beginning to move staff out of the Middle East.

The drone strike on the embassy caused a limited fire, according to Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry.

The embassy announced Tuesday that it is closed until further notice.

The 2026 midterm season begins today in Texas, Arkansas, and North Carolina with two key senate primaries taking place in Texas.

Democrats have not won a Senate race in Texas since 1988, but due to a divided Republican candidate race, Democrats are aiming to flip the state to blue.

Minnesota sued President Donald Trump’s administration Monday in an attempt to stop it from withholding $243 million in Medicaid spending.

The lawsuit asked a court in Minneapolis to issue a temporary restraining order to block the withholding of funds for Medicaid.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said his office has over 300 convictions and $80 million in judgements and restitutions in Medicaid fraud cases during his time in office.

Ellison said, “As long as I am attorney general, I will do everything in my power to defend our tax dollars, both from fraudsters and from the Trump administration’s cruelty.”
