Former CNN host turned independent journalist Don Lemon and four other people are set to be arraigned on federal civil rights charges Friday, accused in a protest at a Minnesota church where an Immigration and Customs Enforcement official is a pastor.

The U.S. stock market is holding steadier Friday after an encouraging update on inflation helped calm a Wall Street that’s been wracked by worries about how artificial-intelligence technology may upend the business world.

A series of statements and moves from the Trump administration targeting allies followed, including Trump’s threat last month to impose new tariffs on several European countries in a bid to secure U.S. control of Greenland, a semiautonomous territory of NATO ally Denmark. The president later dropped that threat.

 The body of a French citizen has been found in northeast Chad, following a two-day search in the Sahara Desert, authorities said Friday.

The man, identified as Paul Ferreri, was found in the Ennedi region, the Tourism Ministry said. He had been missing since he walked out of a tourist camp on Monday near the town of Bachikele. Ferreri was visiting as part of the 6th International Festival of Saharan Cultures.
