The Trump administration seemed unlikely Tuesday to accept Iran’s offer to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz if the U.S. lifts its blockade on the country.
Since the war began, at least 3,375 people have been killed in Iran and at least 2,521 people in Lebanon amid fighting between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah militant group.

Student leaders shared that they originally got the idea of including the day before Thanksgiving past the faculty senate and approved by university President Rob Vischer in the Fall 2025 semester.
The change goes into effect for the 2026-27 school year.
