St. Thomas softball is back in Summit League action. The defending champs swept Kansas City last weekend and will open here at home against South Dakota on Friday.
Senior outfielder Avery Wukawitz is leading the conference with a .419 batting average.
The team is 21-7 and is looking to put together its best season yet.
Baseball is also coming back to St. Paul Friday to take on Omaha. The Tommies are just 4-18 and are hoping to bounce back after being swept by Oral Roberts.
Junior pitcher Brayden Olson is third in the conference with a 3.31 ERA.
The Timberwolves are back in the win column. After losing 18 games in a row… Bones Hyland powered the T-Wolves past the Celtics Sunday with 23 points.
Anthony Edwards sat out his fourth game in a row due to knee inflammation.
