St. Thomas women’s hockey junior forward Ella Boerger signed a name, image and likeness deal to be a brand ambassador for CCM Hockey Tuesday afternoon, Pliable Marketing announced in a news release.
Boerger also has NIL partnerships with Wings Credit Union, Absolute Filth, Slate Milk and Ignite Bars, among others.
“I wanted to partner with CCM because I love their equipment and especially their sticks. I am grateful for the opportunity to join the list of hockey players who are also brand ambassadors for CCM. I look forward to a great partnership together,” Boerger said in the news release.
Boerger is second in the team with 18 points (four goals and 14 assists) this season. Her 14 assists rank eighth in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Boerger has led the team to their first national ranking in the Division I era after reaching No. 13 in the December 8 USCHO women’s poll. The Tommies picked up a win against then-No. 10 St. Cloud State earlier in the year and have played multiple ranked programs.
In 2023, Boerger won Ms. Hockey while playing for Andover High School. She appeared in the 2A state championship all four years of her high school career and won the tournament twice. Boerger graduated Andover second in career points with 231.
Pliable Marketing is a marketing company and NIL agency. The company represents four other women’s hockey players at St. Thomas, including junior defenders JuliAnna and Jenessa Gazdik and junior forwards Madison Brown and Cara Sajevic.

Ella’s success on the ice has positioned her very well for national brand partnerships and she certainly scored a big one with CCM Hockey.”
