The Minnesota Vikings lost 19-17 on Sunday to the Chicago Bears after the Bears kicked a field goal in the final minutes. This was the fourth time in 10 games the Vikings failed to score 20 points.

Presbyterian defeated St. Thomas football 23-9 on Saturday, closing the Tommies’ chances of competing for a Pioneer Football League Championship.

Graduate quarterback Andy Peters had his worst statistical game of the season, throwing just 151 yards and two interceptions.

St. Thomas women’s basketball fell to Eastern Michigan 52-41 Friday night at the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena. St. Thomas has dropped three straight games to start the season for the first time in its division one era.

Senior guard Faith Feuerbach scored six points in the final two minutes, scoring a career high 13 points with six attempts and seven free throws. The Tommies continue to struggle from the three-point line, only scoring from beyond the arc once for a second consecutive game.
