Senior quaterback Amari Powell led the Tommies to a 55 to 17 victory on Saturday for family weekend. Powell completed 13 of 20 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another. The Tommies are fifth in the pioneer league with four conference games left.
The swim and dive programs made their Anderson pool season debut over the weekend. The Tommies hosted a conference meet versus the university of Nebraska Omaha for a two-day dual.
St. Thomas volleyball put together a strong showing against north dakota state, winning three sets to none. Head coach Thanh Pham captured five hundred career wins, ranking tenth in the NCAA Division I.
