St. Thomas women’s basketball beat the University of South Dakota Coyotes 66-57 Saturday at Schoenecker Arena.
Senior guard Jade Hill led the Tommies in through a fourth quarter comeback, solidifying St. Thomas’ fourth place spot in the conference. It will go on to play in the Summit League tournament on March 7.
The Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 130-123 Sunday night. The short-handed Timberwolves had their rotation thinned further when guard Jaylen Clark left the game due to neck pain from an awkward fall in the third quarter.
Minnesota led 85-78 when Clark departed and was outscored 25-11 over the rest of the third quarter.
