St. Thomas Football team won 32-9 against the University of Dayton on Saturday. The Tommies needed this win to end 6-6 and avoid the first losing season under coach Glenn Caruso. The Tommies scored on three of their four red zone appearances and avoided special teams blunders that were becoming common.
St. Thomas men’s basketball fell 69-65 against University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Graduate student Drake Dobbs led the Tommies with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. He played over 31 minutes in the game, second to Kendall Blue’s 32 minutes. Blue finished with 11 points and five rebounds.
St. Thomas women’s club volleyball has been hard at work preparing for its return this April to Phoenix, Arizona to compete at nationals. The team has been to two national championships and won its first national championship last year.
