The University of St. Thomas volleyball team beat UW-Milwaukee Saturday, 3-0. In the same game, sophomore setter Morgan Kealy surpassed the 1,000-career assist mark.
The football team beat Black Hills State University 24-14 at O’Shaughnessy Stadium Saturday. The Tommies’ final push to victory was defined by their defensive efforts as senior defensive back Nick Hand secured the victory with an interception.
Some of the NFL’s best teams from 2023 struggled on Sunday. The 49ers lost to the Vikings, the Cowboys lost to the Saints in Dallas, the Ravens lost to the Raiders after having a double-digit lead, and the Lions lost to the Buccaneers.
